Post Wedding Baby Fever

@M I think one of the ladies here was talking about starting a WW TTC group over there. If you want maybe we can start a group. I just pin a lot of nusery and TTC info, but I'd love to have other ladies to chat with about these random things.

I'm in, I have no idea how to do that though! IF someone sets it up, just link me!

@ m & Nikki- would WWKatie be opposed to making a separate site for TTC/ pregnancy? I know its been asked before but I cant quite remember the answer. I too have lots of ?s and would rather have responses from WW ladies vs more "random" people on those boards!

@Nikki, that's so awesome! I was also going to say that babycenter was my favorite, but I never actually TTC for my daughter, so I've only been on forums while pregnant or as a parent, already. I'll definitely join the WW TTC group once we start

DH is ready to try now, but I want to make some changes in my professional life first before starting that project. It's also really hard to think about diving back into the baby phase, now that my 4-year-old is so self sufficient and easy. Oddly enough, I've really been missing nursing lately lol

@ Mia thats a great recommendation from your Dr. mine said the same. She also recommended checking thyroid levels as well. I am taking prenatals now and can't wait to stop taking the pill!! I've been on so long its going to be strange!! I'm 33 and FH is 32 so we want to start quickly after we get married.

Sometimes I play with my cousin's baby and have super big baby fever. Then I remember that I'm 22 years old, not done with school, and want to go to Europe. So a baby can wait...good luck and I wish you the best! Don't give up if it doesn't happen right away. It took a while for my cousin and now she has a perfect baby boy.

FH has had baby fever for about 2 years now... If he had his way, we'd already be parents. He's EXTREMELY excited to start a family and it's really sweet. I can't wait to be a mom, but I'm more of a realist than he is. I want to be in a good place financially before we have a child. I've had a lot of health issues for pretty much my entire life. The good news is that I got a green light from my OBGYN yesterday (after getting the okay from all my other doctors). FH and I can start TTC 3 months after I get off of birth control. She recommended some supplements and vitamins that I can get on 1 month before we TTC - which is why I think it's a good idea for women who are actively TTC to visit their OBGYN; who knows, maybe they can give you some recommendations for you to get your body in the best shape possible for baby!

The one thing I recommend before trying is talking to your doctor. When I went for my annual visit to renew my pills, I talked with the midwife as I plan on trying for children right after we get married.

My gyn told me to take prenatals and relax. She also made me get the flu shot in case any of you ladies off BC haven't yet.

OP, I have the fever too. I just want to second the person that recommended visiting the doctor. Smoking, weight loss, infections, etc. can all make a big difference.

OMG yes. The baby fever suddenly hit after we got married. Funny part though, I really honestly don't want more children. my husband and I agreed on that a long time ago. So now I just have to wait it out.
