My hubz and I knew from the moment we met that we wanted to have little mini rascals together and now that we are married, now that the wedding bonanza is over - we are ready to move into the next step of our relationship! Smiley smile I'm so excited! But also nervous as I don't know anything about being pregnant or having a baby, let alone raising it! I've been on a search to download books to my Kindle.

Please, if you have any advice or books you recommend - send them my way! Have a great weekend!

PS. I changed my avatar picture!

All of FHs best male friends have had children/are having children within the last 12 months. He would also like to have started yesterday, but I keep reminding him that 1) we are getting married in Mexico and theres a chance that they wouldn't let me fly there being 6+ months pregnant (maybe not as we have less and less time for the wedding, but when we talked about it in the summer with 9 months left...) and 2) I want to drink at the wedding. (That being said, I saw this REALLLLY cute wedding reception photos, where the bride was 5-6ish months pregnant, and they sent the gender to the cake baker who baked pink or blue into the cake, so when they cut into it, they (along with their 60ish closest friends and family) were able to celebrate together the gender of their child. It was so sweet!)

I also second/third, whatever, the doctor conversation. I spoke to my doctor in February, and I did some blood work, and everything came back awesome. I am realllllly anemic, so I take 500mgs of iron a day anyway, but I added prenatals to pill intake, and my hair has never been nicer! I am debating going off the pill in February/Marchish, but I am worried that the stress of the wedding will make my period come and then I have to spend a week in Mexico with my period, so I am unsure yet. I definitely cannot wait to start trying though!

We are planning to start trying this summer. I go for my annual in March, so I plan to go off my pill then. We'll see! I'll be 28, DH will be 30, we've been together 5 years. I don't have the fever-- some days I'm excited about the idea and sometimes I have no idea how anyone has time or energy for children, not to mention all the hell your body goes through...sorry that became kind of a rain on the baby parade!
