Postpone September 2021 Wedding?

My wedding is supposed to be September 18, 2021. But with covid still happening and it looking like stuff is not going to get better in the next 8 months I am contemplating postponing to next year. With the 50 guest limit (including ourselves) and no dancing, it just doesn’t feel like it will be my dream wedding. I want to make a decision soon, so what would you do if you were in my shoes? The really only downside to postponing is that it won’t be the same date (although there is no real special meaning) and just some disappointment. But I would rather have my dream wedding and wait a year than I would settle.

In the same boat as you- debating delaying our Labor Day 2021 date to 2022. I've contacted the venue and only a few 2022 dates are available so I think we have to make the decision ASAP. I go back and forth all the time and have no idea what to do. We'd already planned to get married at city hall in April on our anniversary, so the September date is really just to celebrate with everyone anyway. And if we can't do that, than I don't see why we're having it at all. The only available dates the venue has for 2022 aren't 3-day weekends, though, so that's kind of a bummer since we have 90% of our guests traveling for it.
