Postponed Marriage

Is there any other couples that had to postpone their wedding because of the Coronavirus? I was suppose to get married May 1,2020 but my side of the family won’t be able to travel out side of the state because of it indefinitely. It’s pretty frustrating but I was curious to know how are other people handling it.

    I did. April 18 in Puerto Rico. We decided we can’t control when this thing will end so out of respect for our guests and families we cancelled Puerto Rico and will get married in our hometown. We contacted our original venue and because this is a global pandemic etc they granted us a full refund. Next we contacted all our vendors and arranged refunds. Then we contacted local venues we like and held dates for late August. If this slows down by end of May we will move forward. If not then we reassess. The main thing is to know you will get married - it’s just a matter of when.
