Postponed wedding date and new save the date card?

Erica, on March 25, 2020 at 1:56 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

My wedding date was April 5, 2020 but we have postponed for July 12, 2020. G-d willing, things will be getting back to normal by then.

I want to send a card to my guests to let them know about the change of date. Between my mom and I we have contacted everyone, but I feel as though a card would be a nice reminder for everyone. Almost like a second save the date.

It will read "Due to COVID-19 we have postponed our wedding until July 12, 2020, etc. please rsvp to email address...."

Question - do I send to all invited guests or just those that RSVP'd yes the first time around? Is this a ridiculous question????

I would send to everyone — some people might not be able to make it or will be able to make it to the new date so everyone should know

Everyone because those who said no might be able to attend with the new date.

Hi Erica! I would send a Change the Date card to everyone who originally received an invitation.
