Hello! My name is Amy. My husband, Brian, and I were married on March 21, 2020 in a small church ceremony. However, we were married at the beginning of the COVID-19 shutdown, so our reception venue had to close. We decided to postpone our planned wedding reception to March 2021. A year later, we are now expecting our baby boy in April! Is anyone else planning a joint celebration of postponed wedding reception/ baby shower? If so, how are you planning your activities for the guests?

Thank you!

You do a dinner and not decorate it as a shower but Congratulations to your marriage and new baby boy still can have dance music and send big ticket baby items later such gifts cards so you can use it for baby or for you guys it's just not limited and if they gave gifts for the wedding then do for the baby

Thank you for sharing Amy!! This makes me feel better about combining events. I’m looking to hold our event August 14, still ironing out the details and baby is due in November- but hey babies are unpredictable!!
