Hello all,

Made the decision to postpone again. We are trying to save and do virtual communication. How did you announce?

I just moved our wedding last week but I had a FB event I made so I updated there. Then I sent a text to everyone. I'm over formality at this point lol.

Edited to add: I had really beautiful invitation I sent out in March for the original wedding. But after postponing, shrinking, then completely changing states, it doesn't matter anymore.

You could make an announcement via the “close friends” option on Facebook to only have it go out to people you’ve invited, or you could create a cute e-vite using paperless post! They have a lot of free options to make really cute flyers / cards you can send via text or email.

I'm so sorry Nicole. Smiley heart A quick virtual announcement works, and so does an email! One of my friends decided to postpone their October wedding and notified us via email. We just appreciated the update, it doesn't need to be anything fancy! 💌

We emailed from our website. I'd recommend all couples get email addresses for all guests just for reasons like this. Fortunately we did collect those early on... A heartfelt note is all that's needed. We updated our website too.

I'd do it via email or phone. I overall prefer phone now though cause I recently found an electronical invitation template set made specifically for phones and it includes the invitation, rsvp, reception, and details. I also found a matching postponement phone template so I think I may do it all electronically in case I have to make any more changes and will resend the updates to everyone via text image. It'll save a lot of money cause I wont have to buy any physical prints
