Brianna, on November 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
Hello Ladies!
My wedding is 3/13/21 is anyone thinking about postponing due to COVID? I reside in FL. How’s it looking in your state?

No ma'am. Just changed it to a tiny wedding with only 3 guests.

Our wedding is set for Jan. 2022, so no postponing for us so far! (knock on wood)

We've had friends getting married this year that had to cut the guest list drastically for COVID, so that's what made us decide on 2022.

Luckily we haven't had our venue or any vendors that we've spoken to bring up COVID restrictions regarding our wedding. I live in Georgia and not near the Atlanta area, so our restrictions aren't as bad as other areas.

My fiance and I postponed from July 2020 to July 2022. We don't intend to postpone again, so we'll have to live with whatever restrictions are in place at that time.

I'm a few months after you in July, so far we are sticking with our original date. Unless we need to reschedule we don't plan on it. If things are still not great we will just adjust our plans with things such as masks, hand sanitizer stations, social distancing tables etc.

I live in Washington state and our governor just put more restrictions effective today until 4 weeks. I get married 11/27 🙃
Still don’t know what exactly we are going to do, but I trust in Jesus and His ways

We are supposed to get married 3/20/21 in NC but with the cases rising we fear we might have to postpone. But we have 3 back up plans in case that happens and still want to get married on our date no matter what (if we can).

I am May 2021. We are not postponing just will limit the number of guests if COVID is still an issue.

My 25 person wedding is on 1/23/21 in Philly. They just restricted dining in all restaurants and no gathering outside with food and drink and that number is 10 OUTSIDE. They even put a limit on how many people you have in your home!! They put this restriction into effect until 1/1/21 the restrictions went from almost 75% capacity to 0. I feel so down and stressed. Looking to postpone to end of February but scared it will be even worse by then

    Good luck to you !!

April bride here- live in northern AZ but our wedding is in the Phoenix area. Just had this discussion with my fiancé. I will be talking to our venue about the restrictions. We’re getting married on that day- the only thing that might change is the guest list.

We're February 2021 and getting married that day no matter what, but it's just a constant question about how many people we'll be able to have there with us. NJ tends to be pretty strict, so we'll see! It probably will be a ceremony-only wedding though. Then we'll get dinner with the family afterwards (and bridal party if the numbers aren't too bad).

I am June 4, 2021, so only a few months after March. We are currently easing into a Plan B, but haven't made it official yet. We won't postpone or cancel because I just don't see us wanting to drag this out any longer or do a big reception later on. I think we'll have moved on mentally and want to focus on other chapters of our life. COVID has aged me and put more wedding stress on me than I could have ever imagined. If things don't look up and a vaccine is looking to be distributed slower than we think (even with one, preventative measures will be a thing for a while), we will downsize the guest list or do an open-air backyard wedding following the state's gathering guidelines.
