Postponing wedding a second time...

So we postponed our May 2nd wedding to August 29th due to covid. Now we’re Postponing a second time bc we got a phone call from our venue that there was a fire on the floor directly above the room where we were supposed to have our dinner and the renovations to our dinner room won’t be complete until October. So now we’re trying to see if we can postpone to May 2021... How crazy this wedding planning has been!

Yikes! Can you find another venue to have your reception? I think I'd opt for that versus postponing, unless postponing is something you'd rather do

Dang! 2020 has not been good to anyone in the worst ways. Sorry to hear about your venue. If you have your heart set on it and don’t mind waiting it may be a blessing in disguise. More time to save money too.

We are actually somewhat relieved we get to postpone a second time. We felt like no one was going to fly in to FL for our wedding. We’re looking at the bright side that maybe we will get to have the wedding we were originally planning for before covid happened. We’ve been planning this wedding for 2 years now.
