Postponing

Jessica, on May 28, 2020 at 8:36 PM Posted in Massachusetts Planning 0 4
I postponed my wedding from May 23 2020 to May 22 2021. Has anyone else postponed a whole year? I don’t want to down size my 200 person wedding and I really don’t want anyone to wear masks then either nor do I want to postpone again.

    Hey Jessica!
Yes I postponed mine till August of next year. It is unpredictable what the future holds unfortunately. But I just want to let you know I also postponed far out. How is your other half feeling?

He is taking it a lot better than I am. Maybe it’s a bride thing ? How is yours? And will you be sending out new invitations? I just sent everyone a card notifying that we postponed to this date and all the info about time and place (which thankfully all stayed the same)

You're definitely not alone Jessica! ❤️

Here are a few popular conversations I've seen where other brides have been sharing their personal postponing experiences:

Anybody has had to postpone their wedding due to Covid?

    Postponing til next year?

Postponing??? Will 2021 or 2022 really be better??

Covid-19 Sucks! Any October brides postponing for 2021?

He is taking it much better than I am. I feel better now than I did in May but still bitter about it all. We both took on a lot of projects to distract ourselves with. Keeping busy helps especially since nothing can be done for the wedding since it was already all planned out. Luckily all our genders were able to postpone for May 2021. I don’t want to be forced into having a wedding with no dancing and masks either. I hope that doesn’t become a thing.
