So, one thing I never even thought about, until it was too late (will explain) is that I never practiced my new signature after changing my name. Well, I used to sign out my entire first name middle initial and last name, but then I got lazy. Being a mom means signing a lot of things haha. So, I started signing my first and last initial...and had been using that as my signature (except for when I signed really important docs, then I signed my entire name). Quick and easy. Andddd this never crossed my mind, but when me and my husband went to the bank to join our finances, I went to go sign my name and realized that I have a new name and didn't really plan for this LOL. So, I lazily signed my first and new last initial, thinking that I could practice later and perfect it. Wellll.......the bank teller decided to tell me AFTER I signed everything that I better use the signature that I signed with (which is just DD, because I just had to be lazy) so they will be able to identify me. *blink blink* Excuse me what? You mean I am stuck with that signature? And she said YES!!! OMG, I think I am totally going to practice, and go back to the bank and ask if I could resign everything so I can have a "do-over" haha, think they will accept? Anyways, this might not seem like much to some, but to me It was just a small little (but kind of important) detail that I never thought about, until this happened. So, learn from my mistakes and practice your signature ladies before changing your name and signing any important documents. Smiley laugh

Lol, it sure is....I recently tried to practice (after the fact) and realized how long it took me to remember how to write all these letters in cursive.

I might just keep my old signature. Lol it just looks like a lot of scribble, and I don't think I have the strength to learn McCormack

It's gonna take some time and some practice to remember not to use my original name. But since our wedding's not til November, I have some time to work on it Smiley winking
