prayers, please horrible accident my brother is barely alive.- UPDATED with link

I need your prayers please ladies and guys. My little brother (Matt, 21) was involved in a motorcycle accident. South Dakota does not have a helmet law so he was without. He is braindead with liver and kidney bleeding amd injuries. It is not looking good and I doubt it will get better anytime soon....

I need your prayers please ladies and guys. My little brother (Matt, 21) was involved in a motorcycle accident. South Dakota does not have a helmet law so he was without. He is braindead with liver and kidney bleeding amd injuries. It is not looking good and I doubt it will get better anytime soon. My little brother is in need of some help. I will be getting tested if he needs a kidney to be donated as both his are not well. Please pray for Matt below is a picture of he and I. - NO CHANGE YET NOT LOOKING GOOD. FOR NOW WE R TRYING TO FIGURE BENEFITS FOR HIM TO HELP WITH THE BILLS AND GETTING COUPLE DIFFERENT OPINIONS. WE ARE PRAYING AND HOPING FOR A MIRACLE. WHILE THERE IS NOTHING GETTING WORSE THERE IS STILL NO PROGRESS. STILL IN A COMA AND LOOKING FOR OPTIONS AND TESTS TO TELL US MORE.     Kristina, I am sorry to hear about that. I will pray for you and your whole family. Like everyone else said, stay positive and keep an open mind.

    A few years ago a dear friend of mine was involved in a head on collision. It wasn't looking good for him either. He was in a coma and suffered brain damage and other injuries like both legs being broken, he had to have his jaw wired shut, all kinds of pins and rods put all over his body. He had collapsed lungs. It was horrible and not looking good for him either. He was in a coma for a month, and he was in the hospital for a very long, but he survived. Now it has been almost 3 years and he is almost 100%. It was a long road, he had to have so many surgeries, and go through therapy for over a year to learn how to do basic stuff most people take for granted, but he made it.

    The doctors always kind of predict things negatively because they don't want people to get their hopes up because they can't predict the future.

    The power of prayer and positive thoughts is astounding and can do a lot of good for people. Hang in there. We are here for you and I am sure there are many people close to your brother that are pulling for him. Please keep us informed.

    Praying for a miracle for both you and your family. I'm an EMT and have seen patients like this in the past. There is always hope. Stay strong and keep your hope up. God works in mysterious ways.

    Definitely praying for your brother and strength and wisdom for you and your family. Im so sorry to hear this tragic news. Always remember, God is able to do anything, and I will pray for a miracle. Also remember to take care of yourself. Eat and sleep. Your brother would eat you to be healthy too sweetie. I will also let my Sunday school class know to remember this situation in their prayers as well.

    I am so sorry. Somehow, I missed the part about him being in a motorcycle accident. I have put his name out there to my fellow riders. I am so sorry.

    Re his bills.....Did he ride with a group? If so, bike nights at restaurants with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a specific charity and/or person are very popular around here. During the Bike Night, one can have a silent auction(with donated items) and/or a 50/50 raffle.
