Pre-versary?

@Heather - Hope you get better weather for the wedding! I'm sure you didn't need the extra thing to worry about

We didn't plan anything special, because we didn't have an exact date yet. Ironically, we ended up taking our engagement pictures exactly 1 year before our wedding date. Then we were on vaca, so we flew to Colorado to visit my grandma and uncle and some friends. During our whole trip our photographer was sending us teaser photos, so it was pretty exciting every time my phone made a sound. Plus my grandma and uncle were able to join in on the excitement with us. Thanks for reminding me @CaboBride2018 what a great memory

That's so cute! I honestly didn't realize ours until FH came home from work and was like "Guess what? 1 year to go!!! I've been telling everyone at work" (his co-workers are invited lol) It was so cute, that was celebration enough for me. If I thought about it beforehand something sweet like a card would have been cute!

We did! I was feeling kind of under the weather so we kept it simple.

No real celebration. I sent him a text about only one year!!! Lol

Our engagment will only be 5 months when we get married.

We went out to dinner for our "-1" and just spent the day guessing what we'd be up to that time the next year.

My FH surprised me with flowers on our -1 anniversary! He's not at all sentimental so it meant a lot to me.

We are doing our engagement pictures on our one year mark. We plan to make a vacation out of it and open the wine we bought the weekend we got engaged.

Never would have remotely thought of that lol but it's nice i guess haha.

Since ours is Cinco de Mayo, we went to a Mexican restaurant to have dinner & then went over to one of his friends houses to party.

We did - 1 year too! We recreated our first date and got a hotel for the night. It was a fun break from the routine!

UGH. FH and I wanted to make it a date night, but as of today we're long distance for a month and a half. So we are gonna miss the -1 year mark.

More power to you to have a date night or even a little celebration with FS.

We shared a bottle of our favorite champagne and took a nice long bubble bath to commemorate the occasion. I love a reason to celebrate

Mine is today too!! We are going out to dinner tonight. Nothing crazy, but one on one time with FH is always a great time

We are getting married on our dating anniversary. We definitely acknowledged it. I think its cute!

we are also that annoying couple to acknowledges every single month we are together by saying "Happy 17" to each other. Lol
