Pregnancy Friendly Bachelorette Party

Future Mrs.tidwell 💍, on August 7, 2020 at 1:59 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 10
Hey ladies! I have two bridesmaids that are pregnant and will more than likely be pregnant for the bachelorette party & wedding. I was wondering if anyone could share some ideas of pregnancy friendly (& child friendly for my 2 young nieces) fun we could have for my bachelorette! I need all the suggestions I can get.

I’m super excited for my girls but nervous for them as well. I want to make sure they are comfortable and anything I can do to accommodate them would help!

We aren’t the bar type so ideas I gave my MOHs were a painting class, fancy dinner at my favorite fondue place, arcade- laser tag, bowling, etc; scavenger hunt, mani/pedis, board/card game night.

We went to dinner then bowling, but you guys could do dinner then go back to someone's house and watch a movie. Or you could have spa day. Originally, I wanted to do an escape room since I've never done one, but two of my girls had to back out last minute so there wasn't enough of us to do one.

I’m not a drinker (been sober almost 15 years) & definitely don’t do the bar thing. I wanted a relaxing evening with my girlfriends... it’s already going to be a stressful week so I wanted just an evening to chill! We’re gonna go paint, a nice dinner after with maybe a lingerie party after!

Half of my bridal party including myself is under age anyways and the two that are pregnant are the only ones old enough to drink lol. After reading responses, I think we may do a little sleep over with activities like painting and movies like bridesmaids or something borrowed.... can’t forget the matching PJs too!

Honestly- that’s going to be ALOT more relaxing after the stress of planning a wedding! Etsy has a ton if PJ’s to choose from. You can give them to your bridesmaids’ gift bags as a thank you!

How far along are your Bridesmaids in their pregnancies now? Will they be full term by that time? Honestly, as someone who has had two children, I'm not sure how comfortable they will be by that point period. The third trimester can be rather uncomfortable and recovery from giving birth can also be an uncomfortable time period. I guess I would suggest something super low key and close to home.

So my sister (MOH)is due 10 days before the wedding and the other bridesmaid should be close to 8 months. I’m definitely nervous and worried about them so we are totally going for whatever they are comfortable doing.

I have no kids but my sister has one already so this isn’t her first rodeo. What we’ve decided on is a cabin rental close to home to just chill out, watch movies and play games. Very low key and simple. And if they aren’t comfortable, they don’t have to come. I will miss them for sure but their safety and the babies comes first.
