Pregnant? Anyone got pregnant while on birth control?

We had our first at 18 and it was extremely difficult. I’m a stay at home mom and not sure how this will work money wise.

Congrats on your baby. Birth control pills do not always work and they also mess with your body big time.

My wedding is also Friday. I am sorry you guys are not happy about this news, I am not going to bash you guys though, because if that happened to me right now, we probably would not be thrilled either. I would go to the doctor asap and get tested there. Just to be extra positive.

Oh my gosh!! How exciting and equally nerve wreaking. Have you told your family yet, other than you fiance? I'm curious if you'll tell them at the end of the wedding night or maybe during the toast? Or a completely different day?

If not so happy, just remember that you do have options. Hopefully you can speak with your doctor to discuss which of those options will make the most sense for you and your family.

I cannot have anymore children so I’d honestly give anything for a child with my FH. I intend to look into adoption at some point so you two do have options. Just give it time. It sounds like you should talk to your FH and think about what you both want to do. Both Planned Parenthood and NAF run a free hotline with trained counselors to discuss all options about the pregnancy. Both are great places to just talk to someone about how you're feeling. The NAF number is: 1-800-772-9100.

I got pregnant on BC after a condom broke a few years back. I have a healthy beautiful 5 year old son now. I have heard of many things like this happening. Congratulations!
