Printing at Kinkos

Vanilla_Nut, on July 26, 2011 at 1:23 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

Does anyone know the cost of printing ceremony programs using a digital file at Kinkos? I'm trying to figure out will this end up costing me more than if I had just bought them already printed.

I could buy 60 programs for 135 or buy a digital file for $35. and then print it myself.

If you go to the fedex/kinkos website you can do everything online and get an accurate price quote on there. I did this when I had a conference to go to in TX and didn't want to print all my materials and pay for shipping. I uploaded everything to the website, made all the printing decisions, designated a pickup store near the hotel and picked everything up when I got there :-)

Look at vistaprint.com - they are usually cheaper. Also, there is a deal on Bloomspot.com for $30 for $90 worth of stuff from Vistaprint. Google Bloomspot and Atlanta, or PM me for a direct link if you'd like.

We were going to do some direction cards but wanted them in color - WAY too expensive ($200). If they would have been in black and white, 200 would have only been 20-30. I plan on doing my programs there though... great service.

We're printing out all of our invitations, rsvp, direction cards, and programs at staples. Pricing really depends on how many and what color, but we've had a really great experience with staples. They've helped us so much with the sizing of the invitations (they are an awkward size), and so far we've only had the invitations printed. It was around $10 for 120 of our black and white invites. Hope this helps!

Fed Ex Kinkos is $.59 per color page and $.49 per black and white page. We are having 4 pages copied in color x 100 programs. So for us that is going to be $236 if we go with Kinkos. If we do it ourselves it will be $50 in ink plus aggravation and printer fighting. I will have to see how stress I am already by the time we go to print. I honestly believe sometimes it is worth paying to avoid frustration!

Thanks everyone. I actually found someone on Etsy today that will do my programs and get them to me in time for my wedding. I checked living online and kinks wanted almost $8 for each program. I needed it printed on 11x 17 paper. At any rate I'm happy that I crossed that bridge and my programs will match my menu card

This site has a lot of wedding programs available and ships the same day. You can even have them printed with your wedding information and get them shipped the same day. Total cost for printed programs is only $38 per hundred.

Chris, thank you for recommending Wedding Boutique. I just ordered 200 programs with them on parchment paper for half the price Kinkos would have charged me to color print on paper!
