Printing Invitation Templates from Etsy?

Danielle, on November 23, 2016 at 12:19 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 4 11

Happy Turkey-Day-Eve, WWers!

I've been looking around online to try and find a suite of invitations that I like, and have had trouble finding something that's within my price range AND fits the feel of my wedding.

I have, however, found some adorable invitation and card templates available on etsy! My question is, have any of you gone this route? Did you feel like it was a better deal than going through minted or WPD or vistaprint? Was it a simple process to get everything printed? Did you use staples, kinkos, or something else? What was your experience?

I bought a template off of Etsy and printed with catprint.com. I loved my invites! I paid $24 for the invitation suite. My total at catprint was like $75 this included shipping, 55 invites, 55 rsvp cards, and 55 information cards. The customer service at catprint was excellent. I forgot to update the quantity of my rsvp cards and they emailed me to double check I had the correct number before they printed. You can get a free sample of cardstock types from catprint that they will send you in the mail. You can have a physical copy or digital copy of your proof sent to you prior to printing as well. I'm really happy I went this route. I ordered my STDs off of weddingpaperdivas and I liked them but I saved a lot of money ordering my invites through etsy/catprint.

I am going to buy an etsy template.

Then use cards & pockets.com to print them. This website provides you with the whole diy kit.

Outer envelope, inner envelope, rsvp envelope, and the inserts for as low as like 1.89 a piece.

It's even cheaper if you print them at home. But i would rather they print it for me, and i just glue them together myself.

Sorry if it's confusing, i'on my mobile sneaking around at work lol

We did! Etsy has so many unique options.

My only regret is not using Vistaprint to print them. We used Office Depot. The particular location we printed at erased the text from detail cards and cut very sloppily. We ended up redoing it at a different Office Depot and had a better experience.

We print Etsy files often. One tip I can offer is to be sure to check with the printer you are choosing about what file types they prefer. Then when you order your Etsy design, you will know which to choose and download. Some designers offer a variety of file types for this reason.

Cardsandpockets.com, can't recommend them enough. Great prices, great customer service, and you can order proofs to make sure you love them first.

We used an online template for our ceremony programs and they turned out really well! It was much cheaper and we just printed them at home on nice card stock. Definitely a nice money saver!

Hi, I'm looking to print items at home on card stalk and am in need of a color printer. I am wondering if youd share the make of yours for reference? We have a black and white, and I'm not sure which home color printer to trust with wedding prints!
