Printing Invitations

Jennifer, on February 26, 2021 at 3:15 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 15

I fell in love with this invitation suite on Etsy, asked the seller if it was possible to tweak it a bit and she did and now its absolutely perfect!

But now the question is where do I get it printed? I don't trust a home printer enough to have them all come out crisp and clear. I'm also trying not to break the bank on these either. Those of you who have printed your own where do you recommend getting them printed? It'll be the invitation, RSVP, and details card plus the matching envelopes (those don't need to be printed I just want to make sure I have them)

Also, this might sound nit picky, those who printed your own did you possibly have any purple in it? I've seen purple come out either blue or reddish depending on the printer, I would hate for these flowers to come out maroon.

Does the seller print them? Otherwise take the file to Staples/Officemax

Unfortunately no they don't, it's just a digital download only.

Staples, Officemax and others stores similar to them should be able to print them off for you! You could also print them on home and just get some nice cardstock from a craft store!

I would suggest asking the shop owner what they would suggest since they have more experience with their product!

I would look into a local print shop. They might not advertise printing invitations, but any print shop for business marketing material (business cards, flyers, digital printing) should be able to help you out. You could always go to a chain store like Staples, but they probably won't have great quality paper unless you bring your own.

Check with what’s local near you. Walgreens & CVS is another alternative.

Alot of corporations use Staples/Officemax for printing and a customer is never asked to supply their own paper.

I work at a small business and do a lot of digital printing. Any time I have gone to my local staples for a printing job, they never have the right paper in stock, so I started buying it at craft stores and bringing it for them to print. Just my personal experience.

We printed table numbers and info cards at OfficeMax. We had specific cardstock we wanted to use so we brought it ourselves. It was less than $10 for about 30 sheets

I also used a template from Etsy that I loved. The Etsy shop recommended printsoflove.com - reviews are great and they plant a tree in your name if you order Smiley smile they also supply free envelopes and I think there are some promo codes floating around out there. I got about 60 invites for $1 each. Never really been happy with staples etc.

I’ve never heard of them, I’m going to have to look into that! I’m hesitant with staples too.

Hey I wanted to update you! Just got my order of save the dates today and they are BEAUTIFUL. They look just like the template, colors all printed perfectly. My uploaded photo w/ my comment is a little blurry but the cards are not blurry at all. I will 100% be using this company for my invitations too.
