Printing on A2 Envelopes!!

The O-fficial MrsJoseph!, on January 21, 2010 at 10:48 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 47

Does anyone know how to print A2 envelopes? The envelope is too small for MS Word and I don't want to write these by hand nor use labels...

What do you mean the envelope is too small for ms word? what are the dimensions of the envelope? Is that like the rsvp size envelopes? If so I printed the return address on mine just fine. If you message me your email address (if you don't want to put it out here lol) i can email you the document i used when i get home.

Does your printer allow you to set custom sizes for printing? If so, you can try that if the selection of A2 envelopes is not available. One other thing is try to make a template using the smallest size envelope available for selection by your printer/MSWord & make test prints with various placements of the addresses. If you use pieces of paper the same size as the envelope for test printing, it should give you an idea for the proper placement. The only other thing I could suggest is to send/take them to a printer that can print on those size envelopes. Being a photographer, I do have a printer that will allow me to print on A2 envelopes. I've actually had to for a client of mine's wedding invitations & response cards.

Good luck with the printing & I hope my suggestions helped.

Well, the A2 format sixe (4 3/8" x 5 3/4" or 4.375 x 5.75) gives me an error message that the size is too small and the minimum size is 6.4 x 2.13.

LadyLee - do you know that your template is the only one that will work for me? I've tried on 3 different computers now - and I can never get it to work on my own.

Considering that I have to print each envelope 1 at a time, I guess it really doesn;t matter! LOL

What do you mean you have to print one envelope at a time?! Don't tell me you are typing each address and printing it. Please don't tell me that you are not doing a mail merge. Don't tell me MrsJoseph b/c I'm going to fight you!!! LOL!

LOL!! I can't get the mail merge to work with this size!! I'm typing 4 at a time, but my printer will still only do one at a time...then it gives me an error message. So, I cut it off then cut it back on and print 1 envelope...then I cut it off then cut it back on and print 1 envelope...(rinse and repeat).

Hey, at least I got 12 printed last night! LOL

Girl I'ma fight you! Do you have your guest list in a spreadsheet? Are you using the template that I sent you? I could set it up for you but you would have to trust me enough to send me your guest list and I know that's asking a lot for someone you just met on the innanets (as the old folk say). Offer stands. Message me if you need help.
