Printing the addresses on the envelopes

Christina , on June 2, 2018 at 1:15 AM Posted in Account Support 0 8

Is there a way to print the addresses on the outer envelopes directly from the guest list tool? I'm trying to figure out how to simplify this process and I feel like there has to be a way to utilize this guest list tool to print on the envelopes, or do I have to do this manually? I hope this is making sense, please help!

I know you can print on envelopes with Microsoft word. You just use a template and put in the size of envelopes.

I didn’t use the guest list tool but if you can download a spreadsheet with the names and addresses you can set up a mail merge in Microsoft word to print the envelopes. You can go to the envelope wizard and it will walk you through it or google a tutorial. I printed my envelopes and it was relatively easy! The hardest part was deciding which fonts to use lol. Also, with my printer I had to remove each envelope before the next one printed or they would smudge because the ink wasn’t fully dry. You may not have that problem if you use regular envelopes but I used shimmer/metallic ones. Hope this helps.

Yes, first you export your guest list as an excel spresdsheet. I cleaned it up, made sure the names and addresses were written exactly how I wanted them. Then uploaded it to the website I was purchasing invites from and they were printed on the envelope. You may have to do some work to prepare the file (I.e putting things in their own columns) depending on the format your website wants.

I used my cricut machine for my std.. it came out beautiful it did take a few hours .. but they came out PERFECT!! they looked hand addressed since a cricut is written with a pen like a perfectly penned envelope lol

Oh wow! That sounds great. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of time I’m trying to figure out the quickest way to address them bc I’m at 6 months out. 😱
