Hey all. I got married on Long Island in a snow storm on Jan 7th. I didn't get to take any photos outside, but all in all things turned out pretty good. About 20 people didn't make it because of the weather, but what can you do? My father passed away suddenly this past July from brain cancer, so it was an emotional day for all. My little brother walked me down the aisle- it was a special moment.
Random thoughts/advice
-I wish I didn't have a banana split AND the cake.... many people did not eat the cake, but loved the ice cream.
-I paid for a shuttle but most people took cabs/ubers.
-No one uses the hash tag lol
-I wish I slept the night before.
- Other than for our custom movie mash up entrance video, we did NOT need the two six inch TV screens by the DJ.
-Make sure you move, dance, walk , sit, climb in your dress before you leave the store.
-If there is anything you want to do, a certain picture, song, toast...make sure you do it because the day goes by SO fast.
