We are married!!! After a 9 month engagement, our day has come and gone and it was amazing. The only main issue was with our DOC and the fact that she literally did nothing. She showed up hours late then decided to go sleep in her car for 3 hours and wasn't seen again until the end of the day when she started cleaning up and I asked her to leave. We were married this past Sunday (9/22/29) and yes, these are our pro pictures, our photographer rocks and got them back to us in 3 days! No we didn't request that, that was all her. We never expected them back this quickly.
Our final cost came to $6769.
DIY'd our photo booth and it was the best $50 we spent. No DJ and no one missed it. Food was a Taco Bar, dessert table with Smore's bar and everyone loved it. Two dresses (another great decision).
88 guest invited. 55 RSVP'd yes, 33 RSVP'd no and out of the 55 we had 1 no show.
We head out on our 10 day honeymoon bright and early in the morning. Thank you to everyone in the Wedding Wire community. Some of the best wedding advice and ideas come from right here! If your day hasn't come yet, it will and once it gets here you will wonder where the time went. The day is a huge blur and there isn't enough time for it all. We didn't eat and there are people we never even got to say hi to but at the end of the day, we reached our end goal, to be married and I wouldn't have changed anything about it.
