Budget Breakdown- $23,485
My parents ended up paying: $4,600
(Catering + bridesmaids/mom’s hair)
+ hotel / misc expenses for themselves and others that aren’t listed. So grateful for them!
We Paid: $18,885
Venue: $1,700 the owners are my dad’s (he’s wedding DJ of 30 years) close friends and they gave me a BIG discount; it would have been 3200
Catering/Beer Keg/Appetizers: $4,200.00
(112 people including vendors)
2 appetizers during cocktail hour
1 appetizer at about 9 pm “ late night snack”
Dress: $1500 ( was 2500 but got on sale )
Alterations: $800 (I lost 60 pounds and added sleeves, lace, beading, etc.
Veil: $200
Shoes: $90
Garter: $10
Flowers: $670 (included 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 JR bridesmaid bouquet, 7 boutonnières, 3 wrist corsages, flower girl flower crown, and a toss bouquet) (so this was not including centerpieces for the table because the event decorator did that to a private florist because it was easier for him to decorate the tables and do the centerpieces himself)
Event decorator: $2,100
-table centerpieces (real flowers)
-chiavari chairs
-full decor for 13 guest tables, gift table, cake table, and welcome table. This included table cloths, sequin runners, centerpieces & holders, the white Mickey Mouse shaped foam flower heads that he made, the pink curtain backdrop at head table, king / queen chairs at head table, etc etc. literally all of the decor that you are seeing unless it is Disney besides the Mickey shaped foam flower heads that he made was done by them.
DJ: $800 this was another business that was a family friend so thank God another discount
Photo booth $520
Photography $3000 (this was for two shooterseight hours and engagement photos that I ended up not having time to take because of our hectic work schedules so she is allowing us to take Christmas photos instead )
Videographer $1,950
Officiant: free because it was my dad
StD: $50 cheap on vistaprint
Invitations: $220 local business made them for me
Detail cards: $40 bought digital download from Etsy and printed last minute at UPS
My Hair: $1500 (LA celebrity stylist; I know how insane this is but it was just for this one day)
Hair Extensions: $300
Makeup: $510 (7 people)
Nails-$100
Hair-$90 (not the day of- this was dying my hair the week of the wedding)
Lash Extensions- $125
Bridesmaids/Mom’s Hair- $400
Husband tux rental: $0- we won a certificate at a wedding show that we went to
Favors: $100 - we ordered mini and Mickey Mouse ears on Amazon. they came in packs of 12 six mini six Mickey. we put them into separate baskets on a table for guests when they walked into the venue.
Cake/dessert: $690 - don’t know how big the discount was but I know that they gave us a discount for a 3-tier cake with 200 assorted desserts including rice crispy treats Oreo cheesecake bars and a few others
Candy bar: $230 - this included mini chocolate bars with custom wrappers that had our names on them, Ferrero rocher chocolate, and SEVERAL pink candy options. This was not done by my event decorator it was done by the best man and my sister the maid of honor so they purchased the little containers the candy was in the scoops etc. themselves
Hotels: $436 this was for four separate reservations one for us the night before the wedding, (the night of the wedding we stayed in the honeymoon suite at our venue) one for a friend that could not afford her room, and two nights for the hairstylist that came from out of the area
Custom cake topper $170 Etsy (The only reason I separated this from other Etsy purchases is bc i got a lot of questions about where I got this specifically and how much from friends/family.)
Misc Etsy purchases $823 This included the 13 Disney theme cards / 13 Disney paper lanterns/13 wedding hashtag signs/13 gold table # frames for tables, the Disney castle guestbook alternative, bridesmaid / bridal robes, name plate signs, bridal earrings, address / return labels, Disney photo booth props, custom name bridesmaids tumblrs, custom groomsman cuff links, and literally all Disney table props that I added to the wedding and anything else I’m forgetting. These were all purchased on Etsy but if you want to know how much something specific was just ask and I’ll link it.
