processional Music!!! Please help!! Wedding in 2 weeks!

We didn't go *quite* so out of the box, but we definitely didn't go typical lol. I think it's fun and adds some personality . Don't forget you have your recessional, too - so you can pick a third song as well. For reference, we used:

Parent entrances: U2's "Beautiful Day"

Groom/GM entrance: Jackie Wilson's "Higher and Higher"

BM (I know you aren't having them, but again, for reference) entrance: The Beatles' "Something"

Bride/Escort entrance: Israel Kamakawiwoʻole's "Over the Rainbow"

Recessional: Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours"

As you see, not traditional - but not exactly Phish lol - by the same token, not all of the songs had exactly the same "vibe" and it all worked beautifully in the end.

Pick what you like and what represents y'all.

Definitely walk out to what you want to! If your ceremony is more fun and upbeat anyway, it'll match well. I've seen it happen a few times. We have a few special songs we're using, but we've decided to use instrumental covers of these songs to match the mood of the ceremony. That's actually been my favorite thing to do to "mix" our styles with the romantic atmosphere of our ceremony. It could be an option for you, as well, but if you want to walk down the aisle to the originals, more power to you.

I'm walking down the aisle to the orchestral version of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. I think you should go with your gut and do what will ultimately make you happy!
