Hello fellow brides! Four more days to go for me! Figuring out little details.

We aren’t having a wedding party. So it’ll be my FH walking down and then I will walk down after him with my dad. Question … my mom is officiating the wedding. Would she walk down before my FH? Or go through the side patio door (it’s at her house) and be standing there when he walks down?

Either one is fine! My best friend and bridesmaid officiated and she walked with a groomsman after my husband walked in with his parents.

Or... additional idea: have your FH walk with your mom instead of alone (unless he is walking in with his parents).
the other ideas are equally good.

Either way works! She can either kick off the prelude and be the first one to process down the aisle, or she can enter from the side before your FH walks down the aisle. As long as she's up front first before people start processing!!
