Stating this up front: We are not having a DJ so there's no one to fade in/ out.
That being said FH and I have decided on November Rain by GNR for our Processional and Recessional music. Problem is it's 8 minutes 57 seconds long! There are a few parts that can be cut off but I want to get the timing perfect. Anyone who knows the song, there's like two parts to it. So thinking the first part for processional then starting with last guitar solo for the recessional. I can edit sound bites so that's not the issue really it's just more uploading them to play over our speakers. But I'm wondering if maybe doing just the instrumental version would be better because it may not be obvious if we have to stop it mid-lyric. But then the instrumental sounds kind of boring. How long do you really need for everyone to get down the aisle? I have four bridesmaids plus flower girls/ ring barer.
