Processional Song

Hey y’all, I was just curious about what song you were going to pick for walking down the aisle. Are you sticking with the more traditional songs? Or are you going with a more unique choice? I’m going to walk down the aisle to Foy Vance’s live version of “Be The Song”.

I’m between yellow by Coldplay acoustic or just like heaven by the cure acoustic. My bridesmaids, flower girls and ring bearer will be walking down to kisses and cake by John Powell. We’re thinking together forever by Rick Ashley for the recessional

I am doing the Piano Guys version of I can't Help Falling in Love after my bridesmaids walk to their version of Taylor Swift's Begin Again. I think they go really well together and sounds very sweet.

I'm walking down the aisle to "La Vie en Rose" but the version from How I Met Your Mother. I knew I wanted the song, but didn't know what version. Cristin Milioti sings it so beautifully and it's so raw, I just kept coming back to this version.

I love this idea! My fiance and I both love that show. It was actually one of the first things we realized we had in common (not a big deal, I know. Who doesn't like that show?). I thought about using I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) since that song is one of the best jokes in the show, but use the version by Sleeping At Last.

I’m walking to Promise to love her by Blaine Howard. We were going to use it for the first dance but we decided to do speechless instead. I wanted to do both so I figured I could incorporate both into my special day!

We are having a bag piper play “Scotland the Brave” for my bridal party and “Highland Cathedral” for me. (I knew this is what I wanted ever since seeing Charlotte’s wedding on Sex in the City). For our recessional our DJ will be playing Kryptonite by 3 Doors down. (One of our favorites)

Took me forever to find, but I’m walking down to a beautiful instrumental version of Stardust. FH and I love Nat King Cole so it’s absolutely perfect.

I’m walking down the aisle to classic/traditional Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel. The processional (bridesmaids and all other people) are going to walk to “A thousand years” by Christina Perri. The recessional will be “Somewhere over the rainbow.” So basically a little bit of everything. All of it will be performed by a strings quintet including Chelo, viola, violins, etc 🎻

I am doing the instrumental version of "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge, I've always loved the song and when I heard the instrumental version it fit perfectly.

I'm walking down to "How Long Will I Love You" by Ellie Goulding. For the rest of the processional I'm thinking about the Cinderella soundtrack version of "A dream is a wish your heart makes" and then cutting it off before the bell tolls.

I'm walking down the aisle to an acoustic Slayer song, then as we walk back we'll be doing it to the original version of the song. We're just looking to have fun on our day lol 😁

We're getting married on a beach in Hawaii with a ukulele player so we don't know if they'll play a traditional Hawaiian song or give us a list of songs they know that we can choose from

Just decided this morning on the way to work. Forever by Jason Nelson (it’s a gospel song but is so on point with a love song)
