Processional Songs

Jenna, on March 21, 2021 at 2:25 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 5
I really love the idea of walking down the aisle to “Marry Me” by Train and having my BP walk down to a different song. I’ve toyed around with the fading of the songs and it sounds fine. I am just worried about it being weird that both processional songs have lyrics.. I’ve never seen that done before. Thoughts?

If that’s what you want, go for it!

We did that. We had a song for the parents (U2's "Beautiful Day"), one for the officiant, groom, and GM (Jackie Wilson's "HIgher and Higher"), one for the BMs (The Beatles' "Somethig") and then I entered to Iz's "Over the Rainbow." we liked it and our guests seemed to enjoy it.

It’s totally fine to have lyrics in both songs. It’s your day so do whatever you want!

We’re doing that too! All the songs have lyrics. I’m not concerned about it being weird- our wedding so it’s our vision.
