I’m beginning to feel I want my make-up done professionally. How much can I expect it will cost? What should I look for? How do I start looking for someone? HELP!!

    My wedding makeup will be $250 for day of and was $125 for the trial. Bridesmaids are $100 each day of. I found my MUA through Instagram by looking up area-specific wedding makeup hashtags. I looked through the pictures to see whose makeup caught my eye and I noticed that I consistently liked the way he does makeup, so I booked a trial (which was on the day of my engagement photos, so a win-win). I ended up loving his work, so I booked him for the wedding.

    My HMUA is charging me $300 for my trial and day-off for both hair and makeup. Then my bridesmaids are $150 for both and MOB/MOG is $130 for both. The issue you may run into is that a lot of HMUAs have minimums, especially if they travel to you, so you have to either be able to pay for everyone or have enough people also willing to pay.

    Mine Is $385 For Hair And Makeup, Including A Trial For Both. I Got About 8 Different Quotes And Compared Reviews Before Deciding.
