Promise ring during ceremony..

Here's a thought I had recently that I don't believe has been discussed.. FH gave me a promise ring years ago, when we were much younger. Anyway, I don't know what I will do with it during the ceremony ? Currently I wear it on my right hand but I'll need to put my engagement ring over there during the ceremony and the bands won't sit well together.. obviously this ring means a lot to me and I'd like to have it on the entire time but I'm just not sure what to do with it ?!

Anyone else have a promise ring ? Suggestions ? "Too soon" comments ?! Lol

I'm just going to keep my engagement ring on and put the band on next to it.

I'm still over here trying to picture myself wearing my engagement ring on my right hand during the ceremony. Then do we switch it over as soon as the wedding band is put on? Or should I wait until I walk down the isle and quickly put my engagement ring back on my left hand myself ? Minor details I've never even thought about !!

I have a promise ring too that's really special to me from FH. I'll have the promise ring on my right hand and I'll keep my engagement ring on my left hand. One good thing I've heard about keeping the engagement ring on your left hand is that it can make it easier in the moment for your spouse, since nerves can get the best of us, that they will have a guide for which finger to put the wedding band on. I'll switch the band and engagement ring around after the ceremony.
