Got engaged 550 ft above Las Vegas on 1/1/22🤍

We got engaged at my sisters halloween party. She was Prince. We were playing the game Mafia in which players have to keep their heads down. When I lifted my head up she was there. 10/31/20. 🥰

What a great thread! I don’t have a proposal photo of both of us but here’s one of me on the night he proposed minutes after my e-ring landed on my finger. Such a great night. I do have a video however but I can never figure out how to post them in this site.

We got engaged on NYE at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. He had planned the entire thing with my best friend, including visiting a few days prior to scope out a few possible proposals spots and coming up with a code phrase to make sure someone was ready to take pics! He even had my friend invite us to go with her and her husband so I wouldn’t be suspicious. I was completely surprised! We had planned a small NYE party at our house afterwards, but again, to my surprise, it was an engagement party with all of our friends and family!

This was a year and a half ago. He proposed to me on a little island in the middle of a lake with one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. We’ll have been married for a year the first week of July.

He had my friends take me out the night before to get my nails done. I was told my maid of honor was going to do an engagement photoshoot and then towards the end of the day he asked!!! His face gets really red when he’s nervous so all day I had a feeling lol. Getting married 10/22/22🥰

This thread is so sweet; I love everyone's stories! Also I will never stop talking about our proposal, lol... I proposed to my FW at home, with an elaborate set-up involving way to many fairy lights and candles. The at-home proposal was super meaningful for her, very low-key and intimate. I also waited until her parents (who live 10 hours away from us) could be there.

Then, two days later, she conspired with our friends to get me to a gorgeous spot by the art museum in our city (one of my favorite places in the city), where she then counter-proposed to me! We each had already designed a ring for the other. They were made by the same goldsmith, a guy we found on Instagram, and my ring is made from some of her grandmother's melted-down jewelry.

Obviously we both said yes, so we're double-engaged!

Easter 2021, my parents had flown in from my home state, and we had easter brunch at his parent's house. We always take pics on holidays at his family's events, so I thought nothing of it when he said he wanted a pic and while I'm smiling for a pic, he got down on one knee.

It was the perfect day. We went for a walk at our favorite park, he told me how much he loves me, hired a photographer and our families were there. Can't believe I get to marry this wonderful man!
