Lol. My sister had just been talking about how awful marriage is - she had recently broken it off with her fiancé and my sister in law caught on to what was happening before I did. Notice her shocked face in the background? His timing was hilarious but he was so nervous he had no idea what they were talking about when he picked up his glass to make an announcement, which was his proposal. We did get a few good shots of my dad crying in the background. It was in complete shock and didn’t cry until a week later.

He proposed in the courtyard of our church building! His sister and brother in law were literally hiding in the bushes for an hour while they were waiting for us. They took these photos! Definitely one of the best nights ever!

Heres ours!

Here’s ours. In South Lake Tahoe at Heavenly at the state line (the mountain is half in California and half in Nevada).

I was 90% sure he was going to propose when he said we were going to see his mom and brother at the beach. His mom said she wanted a picture of us in front of the ocean. We posed for pictures that his mom and brother took. Then Ryan let go of me and stepped backwards AND that's when I KNEW! Then I turned around and he was there in the sand 😍

No pics here. FH proposed while we were on vacation in Hawaii. It was such a beautiful surprise and the moment was only shared by the two of us. 🥰 My parents were the only other people who knew he was going to propose and they kept the secret (I loved that part) 💕

View Quoted Comment Thank you so much! He did right on the spot. We were staying next to the Eiffel Tower so I went to Trocadero to take some pics and he was my photographer. For some reason my camera was acting up and all the pictures were coming up so dark and a random photographer approached us and said she takes pics for 25 euros and I since I wanted some pics of us together so we went for it. I got a phone call and he started chatting with the photographers but the truth is he was arranging the proposal and I was clueless the whole time.

My fiance proposed to me while we were on vacation in Scotland, in front of the church where my grandparents and great-grandparents were married. My mom was also baptized there. His mom didn't know it was going to happen, so the picture isn't particularly flattering, but the emotion of the moment is certainly conveyed.

I love seeing these! Our engagement was very private so we didn’t have a photographer, but I love seeing everyone’s pictures.

We got engaged in Paris - it was dark by the time our tour ended at the Eiffel Tower so he waited until the next day outside our hotel - a bunch of people were at the cafe behind us & they clapped! It was a surreal experience; I asked FH if it was all for real!
