He did it in front of his Physical Therapy class at the physical therapist dance. We've been together for 7 years and I've been asking for it since year 3. I knew it wouldn't be for a while since he is going for his doctorate. It completely caught me off guard and I loved every second of it.

This is adorable! Congratulations!

My FH accidentally "spilled the beans" a few days prior. At that point, i was pretty convinced that he was going to come up with a new plan, but he actually stuck with his original proposal plan, which was super sweet. He proposed to me after one of my performances (I'm a professional dancer), with my family and his mother around. He proposed with his beloved grandmother's engagement ring, which had to be written out of his sister's will. The ring was handmade for his grandmother and is well-known in his family. I've heard stories about the ring while we were dating, but I didn't think that it would one day be mine. He even asked for my mom and grandfather's blessing days beforehand. i'm so glad that family was a big part in this. While it wasn't a complete "shock", there were still surprise elements to it and it was really really special. The only thing going through my mind at the time was "I can't believe this is really happening!" Everyone proposal is different, just like every couple.So happy! Proposal

At the top of the Eiffel Tower! Although I guess I should’ve expected it would happen (who goes to Paris with their boyfriend and not expect it?!), it caught me completely by surprise! Thank God a kind spectator captured the moment!!

View Quoted Comment We had asked a stranger to take a family picture for us and it turned into this! He was a younger guy who was good with an iPhone so this picture was taken while he was also taking a video. So I have amazing pictures and a video of the whole proposal!
