My fiance woke up two days before the proposal and said, "You know what I want to do today? I want to go buy you a ring and propose to you." He had been talking about this for weeks, so I just rolled my eyes and said, "Go ahead if that's what you want to do, I don't care."

So we all got in the car (him, my daughter, and our exchange student) and drove into the nearest city and he and my daughter went and picked out a ring. Two days later was our first date-iversary (?) and he took me to the same restaurant we went to when we met. After dinner, he got down on one knee and read me a poem he wrote, and then proposed. When I said yes, the restaurant patrons cheered. It was very sweet.

I just got engaged 8 days ago!!! We have been planning a trip to Disney World for over a year. I had always hoped he would ask me while we were there, but never expected him to actually do it! My two favorite things are Disney and fireworks and he combined both in the proposal by proposing during the Happily Ever After fireworks in Magic Kingdom! I not only was crying because of the fireworks, but also because I get to marry my best friend! It was so picture perfect and he told me that I was his happily ever after😭💕
