We got engaged 12/28 on a train ride at the North Pole. Not the real north pole of course, we were there for the "Polar Express" theme ride with our kids. Santa got on the train and handed me a gift which was the ring! He got on his knees and did the whole speech. It was beautiful and unexpected because the trip was my idea so I didn't suspect anything.

My fiancé love this word had planned to do the whole dinner proposal but due to COVID it shut down the restaraunts , he had took me to watch fire works at sunset I was taking pictures he sunk the ring in my camera and said will you marry me I looked and said oh my god and said yes tackled him for a hug and than I said you have to get down on one knee he did I said yes

My family and I had planned a trip to Disneyland for Halloween. My bf at the time joined us, we spent 2 days at the park. My bf had the fun idea to do one of those caricatures, I hated the idea and wanted to go just get on rides. He finally convinced me to do it. We sat there and talked with the artist when he was finally done he turned it around and showed it to us. It was adorable, wasn't till I read the wording and turned to see my bf down on 1 knee! I was totally surprised and shocked! Later on I found out my family and friends all knew about it even his family who drove down from AZ to be there when it happened. He had called Disneyland and made that appt and had that artist do our picture. I thought it was just gonna be normal day at Disneyland but it truly was a magical one!

Mine engagement was very unexpected. On new years eve in 2018 we went to a friends house to celebrate, and we were in the middle of the street while there were fireworks going off and I was getting my midnight kiss as we were entering 2019. He then asks me to marry him, it was a spur of the moment thing and he did not have a ring. But it was amazing to have the fireworks going off as he asked me. It was perfect and I guess our best friends came looking for us, when they found us they were the first ones to hear the good news. In about 2 months they will be right next to us as we say our I do's.

We were supposed to go on a trip to Paris/Florence/Barcelona but had to cancel obviously. I was super down about not being able to go, and one day I went shopping with my mom and came home to my FH gone, rose petals, and a QR code to a video of him telling me to get ready and meet him at a specific location. I got ready and went to the vineyard where he was waiting and proposed. It was so sweet and so perfect! We are getting married in May at the same winery

We were on a trip to Disney World with his family. My first time there. His dad was making a huge deal about getting our picture done as close to the castle as possible. In my head I'm thinking "it's fine, we'll get there. Stop stressing about it" little did I know. We did a group photo. Then a photo of him, myself and my bonus daughter. Then a photo of just us. I'm overwhelmed anyways since it's my first time there. I see his mom crying then I turn and look and he's down on one knee right where the tracks cross in front of the castle hub. Funny thing is I didn't notice he had started to get down but then a horse was coming through so we had to move and he had to regain his cool. I'm not a fan of attention on me so I said "you better fricken not!" (I don't remember saying it) while I'm crying 😂🤣


We're supposed to be going on our honeymoon to Disney World but as of right now that's up in the air. 🥺

We planned a trip to Denver Colorado (we are from Florida and are not used to snow so it was Romantic for us at least lol). The first stop of the trip on November 1, 2019 was Garden of the gods. It’s this pretty nature park. Well as we were close to leaving he got down on one knee and proposed!! I thought he might propose on the trip but I really wasn’t sure and when he did it I was honestly surprised and cried. It was the more memorable trip ever!!

My FH proposed to me at my childhood softball field (I love that place) in front of my family while we were at my oldest nieces softball game. I never thought that would be the place but it sure was perfect ❤️

I knew he had bought the ring since we had gone to get ring sized and then we looked at styles. Afterward, an envelope from the store (they send the first bill in the mail which includes something to set up online payments) came to our place. He passed it off as just a spam letter but he also wouldn't let me see it, so I had a feeling.

He waited like 4 months after that which kept me on my toes waiting to see when. Well, one day a few weeks before our anniversary he woke me up and asked if there were any dreams he could make come true. I glared at him cause he woke me up before my alarm went off. I said no and turned back around to go to sleep when he held the ring in front of my face and said "are you sure?". I of course got excited and said yes. Cheesy but sweet

I knew it was coming soon but I didn't know exactly when. He proposed the day after my birthday (the ring came late in the mail lmao) I had just gotten out of the shower and was in pajamas and he was like "don't come out here!!" and I had a pretty good idea what was happening. Then he told me to come out and he had romantic music playing on the tv, candles lit, and he was all dressed up. Then he told me how much he loved me and etc and got down on his knee and I of course said yes!! FH isn't one for big planned things, we are a pretty laid back couple and getting engaged at home while I was in my pjs fits us perfectly! It wasn't a huge surprise (i mean i practically bought my own ring because i kept sending him the link ) but I loved it!

So he had asked me a few months prior what I would have/do for my birthday in October. He asked if I wanted a weekend getaway or a present. I chose a trip. So he planned this trip to the mountains to get away from everything. We got up there late Friday and first thing Saturday, we got up and went on a hike. The leaves and scenery were all vibrant fall colors and it was so beautiful. As we hiked up the mountain, he would have us stop and he’d take pictures. We got most of the way up when it started to rain, and we both said it probably wouldn’t be the safest to do the rock scramble portion of the hike while it was wet/raining. So we went back down to this impromptu fireplace that we found earlier and he started messing with the tripod for his phone and prepping to take more pictures. So I stopped paying attention to what he was doing and just took in all the beauty of the nature around me. I thought he was ready to take more pictures when he said, Okay turn and look at me. I turned around and he was down on one knee. He recorded the whole thing on his phone and I had no idea.
Fall has always been my favorite season and now I have other reasons to love it.
We’re getting married November 21st and I can’t wait to add it as another fantastic fall memory.

My proposal was a total surprise! In October 2018 we had planned a 10-day trip to California to visit my husband's family as we were until to make it to a family reunion that July. We were also planning a day at Universal Studios for my birthday while we were out there.

The night before our flight my husband convinced me to meet for dinner after work at our favorite restaurant to celebrate. I was reluctant because I still needed to finish packing and get our dogs ready to go to my parent's house. "No problem, your dad is already picking them our for us. And we can finish packing when we get home." Fine....

After dinner, we took a walk on the nearby lakeside. Asking what I was looking forward to on our trip, I obviously answered Harry Potter World (duh!). He said, "no, I think it may be this...."

I said YES! before he could finish asking lol.

My proposal took me by surprise. I wanted to celebrate and embrace my winter bday and go and do winter things. We found a great cabin deal in northern MN, this cabin is on the edge of a lake where its the border or the US and Canada. This year was also a leap year so we planned and packed and began out adventure. We did hiking, ice fishing, dog sledding, night hiking howling with the wolves, and fat biking planned for our 3 day weekend.

On February 28 before midnight he convinced me to go out with him and try to see if we could spot the aurora boreallis, we waddled over the frozen lake and laid down on a blanket to look at the skies. We spent a good time trying to figure out constellations. He got up and so did I and he asked me to point out my favorite star. I then asked him to point out his, he got down on one knew and asked me to marry him, he said I was his favorite star. We ran back to the cabin because we heard noises coming closer and we got spooked. Back at the cabin it was Feb 29, I love to think it was exactly at midnight that he asked. I love that we did it under the night sky in the middle of a frozen lake on the border, us alone together.

He proposed the night of our daughters baptisim. September 12,2020. me and him went outside alone , thought he was just going outside to smoke a cigarette and wanted me to keep him company. He got two drinks out of a cooler and asked me to put them down by stairs when I turned back around to him he was on his knee asking me.
