Proposal story! ❤️

I’ve shared mine on here quite a few times here it is again:


I had a feeling my husband was gonna propose but didn’t know when exactly - til he said he randomly got us some tickets to a garden on Sunday. That felt like a stereotypical place to propose right? So it’s Friday night of that weekend and we are just in. I go take a shower and he says “take your time in the shower” I didn’t think much of it. So I come back in the room and start painting my nails and he’s telling me to come look out the window. I say eh later or in a minute, I’m busy painting nails. And he keeps pushing me like no no cmon will you just come look omg. Finally I come look and in candles and rose petals in the back yard he has spelled “I love you, marry me?” And he’s down on his knee proposing and I say “yes but I wish you would have waited til I had pants on” — I didn’t have any pants on. We laughed and he handed me a pair of pants aha .

I will never get tired of telling my story lol. My FH planned for a mutual friend who was getting married at the time, spend some girl time together and we walked into a jewelry shop but I thought nothing of it. She ended up asking me what my dream ring would be. 7 months later FH and I are on our first cruise together.

It was Captain's Night so we were all dressed up, went to dinner and then up to the top deck to take photos. It was so cold walking up to him. He saw me shivering and asked me "are you really that cold" and of course I said yes. He said "maybe this will warm you up" and that's when he dropped down on one knee. He popped the box open and I saw the ring I picked out at the store. Let me tell you, it definitely warmed me up lol

Somewhat similar with the birthdays over here! My bday is Nov 6th FH is Nov 8th. He is 6 years older. Last year on Nov 7th when I got home from work he had the fire place lit up and proposed in front of the fire in our home then took me to dinner at one of our favorite places. And we plan to be wed on Nov 7th as well be it this year or next. Fingers crossed for this year tho.

He had asked me in August why I wanted to do for my birthday whether I wanted a trip or a present. I said a weekend getaway would be great. So the weekend after my birthday, we went up into the mountains and we’re surrounded by all the beautiful fall colors. We went hiking for the first time and climbed a 3 mile trail up the mountain. Throughout the entire hike, he would have us stop and take pictures. We were closing in on the top when it started to rain. So we retreated to this little makeshift campfire pit and he started fussing with the tripod again. So I stopped paying attention and was just taking in the beauty of it all. Then he said turn and look at me. He was down on one knee with the ring. Surrounded by the beauty of fall colors. And recorded the whole thing. ❤️❤️❤️

Nov 6th is also my mom’s birthday! lol team scorpio✨ I love that you guys are basically going to have a 3 day celebration for your future anniversaries 💕 I hope your wedding date works out! We were originally 11/11/20 (our anniversary is Nov 11th and we wanted to keep it the same) but we postponed until 11/21/21.

DH proposed at an NYE party at our friends' apartment. We traditionally play a game where everyone brings a little gift, then each person in turn picks one. The gift is hidden under a pot, the person is spun around and blindfolded. They are then brought to the floor and have to find the pot with a wooden spoon. DH had arranged to have my gift swapped out for a ring box. Everyone was told NOT to pick me until last - which made me *super suspicious* because everyone got a whisper and DH didn't pick me after he played.

I kept asking my friends at the party if I was being set up. (I may have particularly targeted a dear friend who is incapable of lying, because she kept looking at me and BLINKING as she tried desperately to convince me otherwise. ...It didn't work.) Anyway, I'm the last picked, DH decides *not* to be the one who spins me around (...weird), and I hear him move where he was (...it's very hard to surprise me). I play, I find the pot, I take off the blindfold to find DH on a chair in front of me, handing me my glasses. I turn over the pot, and there's a ring box. Me: "I knew it." DH then *apologizes*, because it's a loaner ring, as mine hadn't arrived yet. He gives a little speech, quoting Moonstruck, and proposes. Obviously, I said yes, we had a movie kiss, it was great.

There's video, and it ends with the above friend saying, "You can't just ask people if you're getting proposed to!!!"

View Quoted Comment Lol. Nothing compares to a scorpio union! Lol I tell him he can never forget (even tho hes amazing and wouldnt regardless.) We also lump veterans day in too since hes military so it's a week long deal now haha. Sorry you had to move your date! I hope you get to have a great one next year!

I’ve told mine before but I never get tired of it lol. After a truly terrible Thanksgiving this last year, I was looking forward to getting our Christmas tree as we always do, on Black Friday, as long as the weather permits. It was our first year with our pup so I was really excited to take her. We all even had matching plaid outfits. So we get to the tree farm and start walking around looking for the perfect tree. And I find it and say this is the one. He asks me if I’m sure and I say yes. So we crouch down to take a picture in front of it with the dog and he stayed down when I got up. While I was looking at the photo he pulled the ring out and asked me to take his last name. I was stunned so it took me a minute to answer lol. It was truly perfect.
