We started planning our honeymoon before we ever got engaged.
He bought a book on the topic we were talking about. Stuck the ring in it and told me to look at the bookmark when I came in.
I was shocked.
I asked him if I was really supposed to read the pages because I temporarily forgot how to read... lol

It was a mutual thing because I was away and one day I was on the phone with him and we were talking about getting married.

Then I told him that if my FH was going to propose to me that he would have to go through my parents to ask them for my hand and marriage. So, he did. He took my parents out to eat and asked them.

My future husband came and visited me on base after not seeing him for four months. We were hanging out with a couple of my Marine buddies and he whispered something to my friend and pulled me aside. I was giggling before he even finished pulling out the ring box.

I called him later on that day and said what would you do if a female asked you to marry them, would you? He said that he would say yes if I did it and I said okay good to know. I'll make sure I have a ring to ask for your hand in marriage when we first see each other again and he goes not unless if I have yours first. I was like wait what.

So, it's been a game between the both of us. He got me a necklace with rings on it and he has the other ones that goes to it and I got him a ring that he got in the mail yesterday but it doesn't fit him even though I told him to put it on and I asked him. So actually it's on. No one has gotten the right ring yet. So technically no one has asked anyone yet. Wait a minute does that mean we're not engaged yet?

I was so surprised. I just finished the Chicago marathon and he and my boys were waiting for me. He had my boys ask me “would you marry Rob?” He was on one knee and ask me to marry him. The best medal I have ever gotten.

He did a beautiful job with the proposal & congrats to you both... Far as for me it was just us no one around It was valentine's day night & he was beating around the bush .. We were chilling and talking about life & he asked why did i wanna marry him if i was asked to.. I told him why & I asked the same and his answer was because he has ntn without me by his side I am his bestfriend & his 1st supporter always & is always there

2listen when he needs me the most.. I teared up a lil then I sat down and he got down on both knees and asked4me2be his wife.. And I said Yes but I cried & hugged him after I said yes in disbelief that he asked me.

My proposal wasn't a fancy one, but it happened in a way i won't forget it.

Thomas had gotten into a car accident while working. He wanted me to stay put until he was released from the hospital (he's fine, was just very sore and wanted to be sure everything was ok).

I picked up the baby from daycare, dropped her off at my mothers and went to the hospital to get him once released. I got him home and tried to get him settled before I went to get the baby. He excused himself, came back, and through the pain of the wreck still got down on one knee to ask me to be his forever. He was determined not to let the bad day stop him from what he wanted to do.

He still laughs at me because dumbfounded, my only response for a few minutes was "Is this for real?" He did eventually get a yes out of me.

It may not have happened in the most romantic of circumstances, but it is something I'll never forget.

My fiancé and I had openly talked about the engagement and when it may be around just due to the time in our lives with us both being in college and only working part time, but I didn’t know the day, or when, or how. And boy did he get me. It was the day after our anniversary, we took a trip down to the beach with my two best friends. The beach is my happy place, I talk his ear off all the time about that. We all talked for a bit, went and got some food, hung out, and as we took another walk on the beach, pop went the question! It was amazing. I won’t lie I got a LITTLE suspicious when one of my best friends brought her camera out, because I will be really honest my first thought was if this really is happening I don’t have my nails done! Lol. However, when it happened that went out the window, it was fantastic, and really is such an amazing day of my life!

We were having brunch for mother’s day (we have a 2 year old daughter) and we were with our family who flew in for my cousins wedding and he proposed to me in front of my entire family and a whole restaurant

My now fiancé had told me that he wanted to go to Destin Florida with my family and his for awhile. I thought how fun to have both of our families together! During the planning for the vacation we got pregnant ❤️with our boy and so I thought it was a great timing to tell our loved ones we were expecting once we were Destin. Well little did I know he had plan for us to go there with our families to proposed right in front of the beach. Fast forward to the day he proposed..He had everyone wear white and told me it would be perfect for pictures on the beach lol. Later that evening he proposed in front of the beach with all of our loved ones to witness and it was just PERFECT, I just couldn’t believe it was happening. Right after he proposed I asked him should we just tell them we’re pregnant? And so we did lol very emotional and special day for sure!

When we first started dating he didn't feel comfortable coming into my house because my daughter and I lived there alone and he wanted to remain respectful and transparent. So because of that we spent many nights up the street at a small local park sitting on the park bench talking and laughing for hours. When he decided to propose he took my daughter and they picked out the ring together. The following week, he picked me up and said we were going to run some errands. We ended up at our park bench and he dropped to his knee. He didn't say anything other than "will you marry me?" and he kind of blurted it out, I am pretty sure he was extremely nervous it was so cute! I wish I pictures but I don't, it was a private event lol

MARCH 31st 2019 Alexis proposed to me on a hot air balloon ride. Very Romantic!

At the lake, during sunset with all of my family was there!

He tricked me by telling me we were taking the dog on a walk, then he told me he wanted to take my photo over by some Cacti. Turns out it wasn’t a photo but a video, he walked towards me and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Through tears I said “of course!” The video is amazing and makes me cry at how perfect it was for us and how special he made it.

My fiancé wrote the lead singer of my favorite band asking if he could do it on stage, so he ended up dragging me on stage in-front if about 5000 people and proposed. I was shaking for the next three hours
