Caitlin, on November 2, 2022 at 11:54 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 5

Looking for pros and cons of lash extensions knowing that we'll be having a destination wedding and will be leaving for location 10 days prior.

They are kind of like acrylic or gel nails. You have to keep getting them done and they ruin your real lashes over time.

I have never wore them be before but on my wedding day as I was preparing. Getting my makeup done that I wore them for the first time it felt I I didn't have any on and they were lite. Now it depends on how many strips you want where you can just try them you can have them removed

I think some of these responses were based on false lashes, not lash extensions. Lash extensions will not melt off your face or have strips. They will truly feel as though they are your own lashes. They look beautiful and natural (unlike a lot of false lashes applied by makeup artists day of). There are some potential negatives with them also though. They can be expensive, they require regular upkeep, and you run the risk of them ruining your natural lashes or having a bad reaction to the chemicals/adhesive used. If you are going to get them, I would do them several days prior to leaving to ensure you aren’t going to have a bad reaction to them (I’ve seen it take three days for people to react).

I would opt for faux lashes. If placing extensions min 10 days before, you could lose a few before the wedding, and there will be holes in your lash line. If you are new to extensions, this may give you unnecessary anxiety before your big day.
