Pros and cons of Polaroid pic guest book

Pros: cute, different, preserves history in a way normal guest books can't

Cons: price, guests who are terrible at selfies and waste your expensive film lol

Pros: can be cute, or silly. Not super unique to the point you have to explain it, but unique enough that it will surprise your guests.

Cons: like PP said, film is expensive and some people could be bad at or go selfie crazy. Also still a book, myself I'd never look at it after the first go through.

Pros: wedding memories caught on film, can be fun for guests and for looking at funny pictures after the wedding.

Cons: bad selfies or guests not understanding how to take one, wasting film, price.

Thanks for this question It is very helpful for someone on a budget. Because A Bride and Groom will just think cost effectiveness rather than quality. Photographer or Polaroid Never once taken in consideration the number of selfies you will get. Instead of capturing the bride and groom special moments.

I did a Polaroid guest book and didn’t have any issues with my guest wasting film or not knowing how to do it. It really wasn’t that expensive because I bought a cheap book from amazon so it was just the cost of the film. I had so many compliments on how fun and cute it was. I’m so happy I did it.

I had planned to do this (purchased everything and prepped our guestbook with photo holders for polaroids), but just opted not to do it. Every wedding I attend, I forget to sign the guestbook and our older relatives are not savvy enough to figure it out. And, I worry that our friends will be gross jerks about it. Loved the idea, but had to pass.
