My fiance and I are getting married this February. We have chosen to get married by a JOP due to religious reasons. I am Catholic and my fiance is Muslim. We dont see any problem with this. We will be married no matter what and are going to have a wonderful reception afterwards. If people are going to judge us because of who is marrying us...then that is their problem....not ours. I can't wait!

Hi! I’m in the same position as you. Me and my fiancé just got engaged last year (2021) on Christmas Eve. We’ve been together for 4-5 years. We just recently moved in together about 2 months ago. We are ready to get married, but don’t have the money to afford a wedding. I didn’t want something big, because I would much prefer our honeymoon be ahhhhhmazing!!! I DECIDED we will probably do Just Of The Peace. It won’t be costly, plus we can start saving on that dream vacation for the both of us. I hate sacrificing my dreams in a dress and walking down the aisle, but maybe years down the future I can still have my little wedding with friends/family. Also haven’t seen any updates, y’all ever get married yet? Not to be rude, but from the sound of it you didn’t seem too thrilled when talking about the situation.
