Purchasing Items on Wish

To me, they've been bad experiences. You get what you pay for, cheap. They also take a long time to get to their destination because of location. Although, I have heard their customer service is good, never had to deal with that aspect. I would just stick to Amazon and Ebay.

I purchased some silk flowers and eucalyptus flowers from there and they were good quality. The other florals came from hobby lobby. There were a few other things I purchased from there just can't remember. I also uses eBay a lot.

I haven't purchased wedding items on Wish, but I have purchased other things.

I keep it to simpler things. I don't think I'd ever purchase anything worth a lot of money off of it, because it's honestly hit or miss. Some things I bought were wonderfully perfect, others looked cheap, and I'm glad I only spent a few bucks on them because I threw them away.

Shipping also takes a LONG time, like 2-3 months.

You literally get what you pay for, so keep that in mind while shopping.

I've gotten random things on wish but not for my wedding. There's literally no telling when things arrive, sometimes my orders have taken months to show up. You can't rely on that for a wedding.

I encourage you to be cautious if you choose to make purchases from wish.com. The site offers some great deals, but there can be an equal number of items that do not quite fit the description. I hope you are able to get everything you love without difficulty. Best of luck!

If you are ok with cheap knock offs from China that won't look like the picture then go for it. I wouldn't do it though.

I've purchased so much from Wish for my wedding, I can't even keep count. I've gotten my veil, flowers, cake knife and server, ribbon and rhinestone buckles for my invites, glass terrariums for my centerpiecs...the list can go on. Just look at the reviews and pictures before you buy. I don't and won't purchase clothing, but supplies and decor has been amazing for me.

I have ordered bunches of stuff from clothes (dont recommend) to accessories. I just got these in the mail today and I'm in love with them. I have other random items coming and will let you know. As PP said you never know when you will get things though.

I would use wish for decor after you set a date and pick the venue ( i.e. early on in the process) since it does take a while for items to ship from China. I also like Lightinthebox. The items are of decent quality. It may take a while, but hey at least you have it on hand and can use it for home decor later.

Just make sure you read the reviews! I’ve ordered quite a bit and have never had a problem.

I haven't bought any wedding stuff but have bought dresses. Twice actually. First one was nice but since it is from China, and Chinese woman tend to be very slim. The size was too small for me. The second dress I ordered was nothing but like the picture. And the shipping did take a long time to get to me. So I guess it's a hit or miss. However, of you don't get an item you purchased they do refund you. So they're good at that.

I guess I could've returned what I didn't like but sometimes buying is much cheaper than exchanging it.

I've ordered a few things... 2 veils that I loved -- one I'm using for my actual wedding, multiple faux flowers... Like pp have said... it takes forever and you DEFINITELY have to read the descriptions. FH ordered some flashlights but didn't read the size... They were much, much, much smaller than we were looking for. Oops. We learned!

I ordered three veils before I got one I was happy with. One they gave me my money back because it looked NOTHING like the picture.....even with purchasing two, it was way less than what would have spent otherwise (on something I only plan on wearing for our short ceremony anyways).

i ordered paint markers, my bouquet holder thing, some decor for our backyard (rehearsal dinner), bachelorette party stuff.....just make sure you have time and you read the reviews

Beware from ordering from wish. A lot of people have had money be stolen from them. Happened to me and a good friend.

I've bought a few items and they were good. But u really have to pay attention the sizes etc. Like the Mr and Mrs sign was smaller than what was pictured but it was of good quality. But plan on buying well in advance because it is coming from overseas

I haven’t purchased any wedding decorations just yet, but I have used wish for numerous things over the past two years.

Different companies can sell through the wish app so you can’t generalize your experience. I have had almost all of my items come exactly as described and within the time specified.

My advice would be to read other customers reviews. They help a lot. Most post pictures or videos of the items received so you can see the item without the marketing photoshop on it. They have more and more companies from the US listing items there now, so shipping is more convenient from them.

My only complaint is that they have no way to combine shipping, even if you purchase 10 of the same thing from the same vendor. So shipping costs can sometimes offset the savings. Just price match and make your best judgement, however I think they are a great resource overall.
