Purse on the day of??

I was thinking about this exact same thing!

I think I'll have my sister carry my phone, lip gloss, the wedding bands, etc cause she's my MOH. She DID ask me to buy her a fanny pack for the occasion, only cause she wants one...

Makes sense! But if you give it to your MOH/sister, will she wear her purse (or in this case fanny pack hehe) down the aisle and to stand by you at the altar?? Some secondary person would have to hold onto it right?

My dress has pockets and I’m carrying my phone, handkerchief and lipstick

My venue is where I’m having my ceremony and reception. There’s a bridal suite that I’ll just keep all of my stuff in and if I need anything it’s quick to grab. Do you have any space like that?

Yeah my wedding is at a Marriott. I can leave all of my stuff in the bridal suite. Don't need my phone but maybe would want a lipstick at the reception for a touchup? Probably would be too busy having fun to need it!

I’ll probably carry a clutch with lipstick, phone, mints, and powder. I’ll hand it off to our DOC for the ceremony.

I had a big getting ready/“emergency” (feminine products, snacks, safety pins, scissors etc) bag that I left in the brides room both at the reception and ceremony locations. I also had a small clutch with my phone, lip stick, speech (I think that’s it) but I forgot it in the car so it was pointless. I didn’t miss it at all during the night.

I bought a Mary Frances vintage styled bag to carry for the day. I'll hand it to the wedding planner before the ceremony and get it back afterwards. I'll have lipstick, a handkerchief, rollerball of my perfume, and my meds. The ruffled background is my pale pink gown.

I transferred what I needed from my purse to a day-of bag. It held my wallet, chapstick, deodorant, a small first aid kit, my phone, a water bottle, brush, and small things like that - basically all the things I needed to get ready.

While I was getting ready, I used those things, and then it got locked in the room until the end of the night. I even left my phone up there, and we only used it to look at the videos of the bustling and the skit we did in the reception.

Your best bet is to keep what you have to a minimum.

I kept my things up in the bridal suite at the venue. I ended up bringing down my lipgloss and chapstick and put it on my table so it was handy, but rarely used it after dinner.

I had a bag that I put everything in and my coordinator kept it and then put it under my sweetheart table so I had it handy all night. It had everything I needed.

I planned on having a clutch. It has my new last name and matched our theme but I totally forgot to use it! I didn’t really ask anyone to hold it so maybe that’s why. Giving it to someone is probably a good idea before hand.

We got married in a synagogue. I left my purse in the conference room where we got ready for the ceremony. Then I picked it up from there and took it to the reception location, where I carried it.

Purse had envelopes of cash for last minute tips and payments, marriage license, keys for car and place where we were staying, driver's license, credit card just in case, phone, comb, and reading glasses.

I’m only using a purse to hold items during the reception. I found a clutch with feathers on it and it will coordinate nicely with the subtle feather accents we’re using throughout the ceremony/reception.

I bought my bridal clutch on Etsy and put my phone, mints, lip gloss, tissues and cough drops (because I had a cold) in it. I gave it to my DOC during the ceremony and then got it from her afterwards and set it on my table during the reception.
