Put wedding party at an Airbnb close to Venue?

I would make sure the guests feel comfortable with that idea. My in-laws are in their 70s and are wary of Airbnbs. They prefer a hotel.

So we got married at a hotel and most guests choose to stay there. My husband's groomsmen had talked about getting an Airbnb the night before and then getting ready there, but ultimately decided not to. I think I would leave the decision of where to stay up to your bridal party. One reason the groomsmen choose not to was because they weren't sure what their significant others would do.

30 miles or 30 minutes? Those are different measurements and I can't imagine a closest hotel being 30 miles from a venue. Most guests tend to prefer hotels when given the choice.

My entire bridal party stayed at an Airbnb together that was 5 minutes from our venue. It was nice that they were all in one place & the convenience to the venue was perfect.

I think a few factors to consider are how well the people know each other, how many bathrooms, and Covid!

Pre-Covid our plan was to have all our friends at one Airbnb. During Covid that didn’t seem smart as it’s better for people to have their own room where they can take off their mask and relax without fear of an airborne disease.
We did ask everyone in our group if they were ok with that, some that were married preferred to stay at a hotel.
