Since quarantine, we've eaten out more/got food delivered and are constantly on the computer or playing video games. Luckily, we have a few streaming networks so that helps with our boredom but all in all we're both still dying on the inside. We've been at FH's parents house for so long (although fortunate to save money for the wedding). Since we had just recently postponed our wedding until further notice, we are now actively looking to get our own place again. We basically confine ourselves to our room and office space and we do what we can outside the house because dealing with his parents there's just so much tension and awkwardness.

How is your life together during quarantine going?? Better than you expected, worse or 50/50??

That's amazing! We both know for a fact if we were in our place again, we'd be more apt to do things like that. Hopefully we can get out of his parents place within the next couple months or so.

Quarantine started out a little rough for us, since we were both super stressed with paying attention daily to the changing COVID restrictions and such and being worried about our wedding. Being around each other 24/7 was also something we needed to adjust to. Once we postponed our wedding, and we stopped stressing over restrictions being extended, and we learned how to be around each other that frequently, quarantine ended up being one of the best things for our relationship! We took walks at lunchtime around the area we live in, and now we watch TV shows together, play board games, finally cleaned out a bunch of clutter that we'd been meaning to get to, and we each took on a few new hobbies and we share what we learned with each other. Definitely going better than expected.

We try to do the same! Except our once a week is more times than we really should be as far as food lol. We try to go to CA to see my family every once in awhile. We would stay a few days to a week or so to really reset.

Beautiful! We've noticed that we are spending way more time together outside the house as well. We go out more and such. When we were both working, it was crazy busy cause I had two jobs and wouldn't get off till morning or get off late and he'd be asleep already cause he had to get up early.

I've noticed a few people mentioned exercising. We'll definitely have to give it a shot! FH and I have both been furloughed since the beginning. Can't believe we're going on a year of this Smiley ups

Yea, we know the feeling! That's great that you both still have your jobs though, being essential. Continue to stay safe!

That's sweet. I was actually thinking about an old hobby of mine last night. We do what we can as well to keep from going insane and it's been working pretty well for the most part. We're on the postponement train as well so we definitely know how that feels. I'm glad that this situation has brought you guys closer together.

Oh trust me some weeks it seems like it’s every other day at our house. We aim for once a week.
And by the way, I really sorry you’ve had to postpone. I’ve really been looking forward to seeing your BAM with you in your dress. We haven’t seen it on you yet 😞 I hope you guys get a plan worked out.

Yeah, both Pfizer and Moderna require 2 doses of the vaccine. Pzifer is 3 weeks in between and Moderna is 4 weeks, I think.

LOL we're absolutely terrible when it comes to spending money on food.

And thanks. We were so close but can't say we're surprised. Restrictions are supposed to change later this week but due to our traveling guests, we didn't want to wait that long and still end up not being able to go through with our wedding. On the bright side though, I now have more time to try and work out and focus on a few other things. I'm definitely going to have to work on my terrible eating habits though lol.

We're both introverts and we're also that couple that makes you want to gag but also smile.

He's back at work, but while we were both home, we binged West Wing, and Star Trek, and such, made ice cream, reamed out the "library" (a tiny room where all our bookcases live), and dealt with the miscarriage I had.

So... it's been up and down, emotionally.

The only thing that was really hard is that it's a small space, and we're used to opposite schedules, where we can both have "me" time. We had to artificially create that by staggering bed/wake up times.

I kinda resent him being back at work - I miss him!

That's cool that you have a "library". I've always wanted a space like that.

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage 😔
