Question about venues in Mexico?

That should really depend on the vision for the wedding (all inclusive? villa? beach? in the pueblo?) and the size of the guest list. My advice would be to make contact with a wedding planner in the area that can help you directly.

We are getting married in Cancun, and are spending 22k on 95 guests. That includes absolutely everything [even dress, suit, rings, flights, honeymoon, bridal gifts, professional decorator, etc].

The base cost for the resort [only includes 20 people] was $2,400 for the top package, and $45 PP for each guest after that.

We paid $1,800 in fees to bring in an outside videographer, photographer, and DJ. We paid $$$$$ for a videographer so you could save around 5k if you did without that!

Some tips:

we used travel rewards credit cards [3 different ones] to book ALL wedding stuff [paid immediately] by taking advantage of promotions, we got over 220,000 flight miles with Delta so our flights are free.

We booked through DestinationWeddings and will receive $4,187 off of our honeymoon when combined with the discounts from DW.com [above] and our resort. This was based on how many guests booked, for example 10 rooms booked = $500 from DW and 1 free night stay from our resort. Our 11 day stay will only cost us $1,000.

Highly rec DW.com, they made the process seamless.

We saved money by making our own bouquets [will be a hassle to fly with them through customs but worth it] and our own RSVP + invites via Etsy templates.

Hey Yaajsta! Were you and your finance able to narrow down on the venues in Mexico? I'm looking at venues as well, and it seems to be a daunting task with so many options available!
