QUESTION IN REGARDS TO GIFT BAGS TO HOTEL GUESTS

OK...this is probably a silly question, but if you are a couple do you give two gift bags or one? I planned to for each gift bag - two bottles of waters, homemade cookies, map of area and activities list of area..etc and maybe something else...?? What do most people do?

I actually ordered it from the Sams in Houston where my FH is and he went and picked it up for us. For some reason Sam's does not ship anything or at least I couldn't figure it out and none of the Sam's around here (Western KY, southern IL) carry the individual packs. I didn't even think to try dollar tree! Oh well, I got 100 packets for $18. So that wasn't too bad.

We are doing 1 bag per room. WE are giving water, little bottle of wine, and cookies. We are also including an invitation to brunch the next day.

I did one per room. We had a 'green wedding' so each bag was a reusable brown bag filled with water and granola bars, a metro map and local attractions. I saw everyone using the bags throughout the weekend so I think they went over well. I made a nice tag with each persons name visably printed on the front...and the hotel staff handed them out as the guests checked in. no extra fee, no trouble at all Smiley smile

I like the reusable bag idea...What did they look like? Did they have anything printed on the outside?
