I am probably going to do jewelry - they are doing mismatch dresses so I thought it would be cool to have something unifying. And I will probably do pashminas because it could be chilly.

I think I might be going a little overboard with my bridesmaid gifts. I got them all earrings and short capes for the wedding day as well as pink satin totes that say bridesmaid. Lastly I am making my girls hoodies that have bridesmaid in rhinestones on the back. The tote and rhinestones that are going on the hoodies are below.

The capes are the cutest though. Planning this wedding has introduced me to the amazing world of etsy

I did tote bags and put their name on one side and their "role" on the other I did it for my mom, my fmil, my MOH, my 4 bridesmaids, my jr bm, and my 2 flower girls! I have also bought my MOH and 4 bm's their dresses that they will be wearing. I bought MOH a charm to go on her bracelet (like pandora but from Helzberg Diamonds) I want to do atleast 1 or 2 more things for them!

Since were having a DW...Im going to do tote bags with their names on it (that they can use as their beach bag) and then stuff them with things like a personalized hanger, a tervis tumbler for the bars at the resort, and other fun things for on the beach Smiley smile

So far I have the following...tote bags from (VP) , Jewelery pouch, Flip Flops , DIY wine charms, DIY Wine Glass, Nail Manicure kit . I also want to add a Coach clutch waiting to get one for a great deal. I'm sure I'll add more as we get closer.

I gave my ladies matching necklaces. They all wore black cocktail dresses of their choosing, so the necklaces helped to unify the look. I also covered the cost of prof. hair and makeup for my ladies (in all honesty, that was more of a present for myself, since i wanted pro hair/makeup for the pictures)

Wow! You ladies are really giving GREAT ideas! Thank you!

So - everyone keeps talking about "emergency kits" - what goes inside of a BM Emergency Kit? Please do tell....

Things you might need for the day: tissues, nail file, clear nail polish, mints/gum, bobby pins, safety pins, lip gloss/chapstick, shout wipes, hand sanitizer, some people even put condoms (if their bm's are looking to hook up with a grooms man, lol)

My ladies will be getting a sparkly coach wristllet to use the day of. I am also doing an emergency kit with a twist- as we are all planning on being at the venue the whole day of the wedding, setting up and getting ready, I got them each a lunch cooler bag, and I am going to fill it with water, snacks, protein bars, and mini bottles of champagne-- to keep them going through the long day!

I have 2 ladies and I'm not quite sure as to what exactly I'll be gifting but I got a lot of ideas from Pinterest. My MOH loves to bake & my BM is a jet setter (she travels a lot for her job) so I may get them something pertaing to their lifestyles.

However, I would also like to put together a spa kit complete with a robe, slippers, aroma therapy candles, bath salts/bubble bath, some type of calming tea, and a jazz CD.

I like the emergency kit idea too!

@Melissa J - where did you get your hoodies?

These are awesome ideas, I love this thread!

So far, I have gotten my girls bracelets from etsy and I am paying for their makeup the day of the wedding. I want to do tanks or zip ups for getting ready but I can't decide which one because I don't think all of my girls will be comfortable in a tank top!

I got the bling for the hoodies off amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003DMM64K/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00

they have ones for the bride, MOH, and MOB too.

My Capes are from Cape and Crown on Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/capeandcrown13?ref=seller_info

The capes are a great quality, fantastic price, and arrived quickly. They custon made 6 BM capes and a longer cape for me. My transaction with cape and crown was the easiest part of my wedding planning. Here is a pick of the cape and dress! I love how they came out and can't wait for December!

Great ideas. I have purchased necklaces and pashminas so far. I like the clutch idea. I am STUCK however on what to get the teenaged boys who are in my wedding. My nephews ages 6, 12, 14 and 17 are ushers, singer and flag carrier. What on earth do I get these young men??? Any ideas?

My entire bridal party is made up of couples, and in one case, with daughter. So I am having our photographer take a solo shot of each couple all decked out and having the photo put onto a canvas for them. My only challenge is making the "IOU" nice enough to give the night before the wedding, since I won't have photos until after the day!
