Quick I need a poem!

Take this but I want it to ryme... and sound better

Let us know the songs you would like to hear at our wedding. Our DJ will make every attempt to have any songs requested. Please keep in mind we will have children at the reception so keep it PG-13 if you could.

Would you like to request a song to play?

I have decided to let you ask today

    Everyone can have a say

But please keep it PG13, okay....

    There's my attempt. Good luck.

    Here is the winner

Let us know what you want to hear. Polka, disco, we have no fear.

We like it all, we love to dance. But please no swearing, not even a chance.

Our wedding DJ will do his best, to get to each and every request.

Very nice and a cute idea. You are very brave to take requests. I worry that people would request music I detest and then they would be upset when they don't hear their requests.

May I ask what your DJ thinks of this? We had a "must play" list but our DJ advised us not to have too many so the DJ can judge the "flow" of your party and use his expertise to keep the dancing going. BUT we did tell him guests could make requests at the wedding, and he could honor them if they weren't on our "do not play" list and would totally interrupt the party.

You might just end up with a really odd assortment of music in your limited dancing time where only a few people want to dance to each song. Just a thought! You know your crowd better than I do. I would have been happy with all Alkaline Trio to dance to....but no one else would have!!
