Quick wedding lipstick question!

On a few posts where brides have had their makeup professionally done I've seen them comment about buying their own lipstick or borrowing from a friend. If you get your makeup done professionally, do you need to supply your own lip color or will the MUA do it for you?

I know having a tube of the lipstick is helpful for touch ups, but I wasn't sure if you need to have your own for hygiene reasons. I've never had my makeup done professionally before so I'm not sure. I want a pinky-nude, natural looking lip but haven't found a shade/formula that I like and was really hoping my MUA could do it for me.

My question is, do I need to bring my own lipstick or not?

I ended up using a matte lip gloss by dose (truffle was the color) and it was a really pretty natural looking pink!

I'd ask your makeup artist. Mine supplied lipstick but I wanted to be sure I liked it so I brought my own.

Ask your MUA. Some will give you a lipstick for the day, some you need to have your own.
