For the last month or so he keeps making jokes about getting married. Says things about deals on rings, points out ring stores, etc

Most recently made a lot of jokes about getting me a ring for Christmas and jokes about how he needs to go to these ring stores to get my present. Said he had a secret present for me and it was a real knee jerker.
Crazy a year ago he was def more freaked out by marriage kinda
We’ve been together for 2 years. We have a son Togetherand I have a daughter from previous relationship

Just go tomorrow lol. They should have fashion rings for cheap too, so you might be able to buy yourself something and just mention the size in passing.

I just had a realization.

He is probably buying a ring that I used to have. It was my fav I was OBSESSED.
in fact he mentioned before trying to find it and said it couldn’t.
Oh boy! Do I feel dumb 😂

Ok another update;; today he text me;;
Sorry I didn’t go all out for you this year :/ I mean I got you some things but nothing so big. I really hope you didn’t spoil me because then I would feel really bad. I love you and just want you to feel loved is all.

Am I correct he wouldn’t act this way if there was a proposal coming I’d say?
